What are you going to do?

As a Warehouse Supervisor you are responsible for the entire logistics operation within the warehouse, and you manage the warehouse employees within your team. You coordinate, control, and supervise the activities in the warehouse. You are responsible for the effective and efficient use of the warehouse, so that an optimal logistics process of goods is realized.
To optimally meet the customer's wishes, you are an example for your colleagues.
You also do this by picking orders.

What are the responsibilities:

Responsible for the daily management of your team in which you work;
Preparing, coordinating and evaluating the work related to the operational flow of goods within the warehouse in accordance with the received work assignments/orders;
Guidance, coaching and training of the warehouse employees;
Performance Management;
Transporting shipments between the warehouse and our store(s);
Handling shipments and batches of fragile substances;
Supervising the correct use of equipment and rolling stock and signalling malfunctions;
Ensuring compliance with the various internal rules and legal regulations and provisions;
Responsible for overall safety compliance inside and outside the warehouse;
Ensuring order and cleanliness inside and outside the warehouse;
All other activities that are required within the organization;
Picking orders
Receiving incoming goods.

What we ask:

MBO working and thinking level;
Knowledge of inventory management systems,
Experience in managing a logistics team;
You have a strong sense of responsibility and are a natural leader;
You take initiative and think in terms of solutions;
Extensive experience with logistics processes
Forklift diploma;
You pay attention to quality and accuracy;
Solution-oriented;
Good communication skills in the English language, Dutch is a plus

Salary between €2600-€2800 gross a month, based on a 40 hour workweek.
